Self Finishing Ideas

Needlepoint can get very expensive so I have tried (and many times failed miserably) to self finish my finished canvases. My favorite ways to self finish have been inserts with 3m such as a bookmark, passport cover, bag tags or key fobs. These have made great gifts and have been my most successful finishings that my family and friends have been happy to receive. I have also finished a few ornaments for my own tree and found watching TikToks and YouTube videos were a huge help.
My most recent self finish has been an iron on patch for my Boat&Tote which I have loved! I have a "tutorial" on how I completed this on my TikTok.
